Here's a classy move. The Milwaukee Bucks moved their Oct. 23 home opener against the Chicago Bulls from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m. Central (2 p.m. MT) so it won't clash with Game 1 of the World Series, which the Brewers host that night, per ESPN.
"The Brewers' return to the World Series for the first time in 44 years is a special moment for Milwaukee and sports fans across Wisconsin," the Bucks said in a statement. Translation: nobody in Wisconsin was going to pick.
There could be round two. The Bucks host Cleveland on Oct. 31, the same night a Game 7 would land in Milwaukee.
First, the Bucks open Wednesday at 5 p.m. MT in Washington, where No. 1 pick AJ Dybantsa is being evaluated after spraining his left ankle in Friday's preseason finale. Coach Brian Keefe called it mild and said pulling him was mostly precautionary, per ESPN. Fingers crossed for the rookie.
