PWHL Las Vegas only unveiled its first-ever jerseys this month. Now three of its players get to try on a different one.

USA Hockey has invited 31 players to a training camp Oct. 23-30 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, to prepare for the IIHF Women's World Championship. Las Vegas's Tessa Janecke, Hayley Scamurra and Lacey Eden are on the list, the team announced. "Going camping," it called it. Eden was the fifth overall pick in this year's PWHL draft.

The camp comes with a bonus: two exhibition games against Canada, hockey's fiercest rivalry. The first is Oct. 28 at the WFCU Centre, and the second is Oct. 30 at USA Hockey Arena. Both start at 7 p.m. ET.

Not everyone gets a ticket to the main event, though. USA Hockey expects to name its final 25-player roster on or around Oct. 31. The World Championship runs Nov. 6-16 in Herning and Esbjerg, Denmark.

What's next: Camp opens Friday. For a brand-new team, sending three players to try out for their country is a pretty great first flex.
