When you throw as many great passes as Nikola Jokić, picking a favourite is hard. On Saturday, the NBA posted a clip of the Nuggets star receiving his 2025-26 NBA ID Fan Favorites Assist of the Year trophy, and he needed clarification on which of his dimes had won it. His reaction: "Which one?"

The less fun news: guard/forward Julian Strawther is out indefinitely after spraining his left knee in Wednesday's preseason game at the Clippers. The Nuggets said Friday night that he will be re-evaluated in six weeks. Health first.

Strawther, 24, was projected to come off the bench this season. He averaged 7.2 points in 57 games a season ago, when Denver was knocked out in the first round by Minnesota.

What's next: The Nuggets open the regular season Thursday at 9:30 p.m. ET in Oklahoma City. Jokić will probably start piling up candidates for next year's trophy right away.
