Alex DeBrincat picked a great moment for his latest goal. On Saturday, with goalie John Gibson pulled for an extra skater, DeBrincat tapped in a loose puck during a scramble in front of the net with 1:33 left to tie the San Jose Sharks 3-3.

It was his team-high fifth goal of the season and left him one shy of 300 for his career, per the AP. Detroit then killed off a penalty in overtime, and Lucas Raymond scored the only goal of the shootout for a 4-3 win. The team's account went with: "Everybody loves (a s/o winner from) Raymond."

It's the first time this season the Red Wings have won back-to-back games. Gibson made 32 saves.

The loss spoiled another big night for Macklin Celebrini, who had a goal and two assists and leads the Sharks with 11 points in six games. Dmitry Orlov and Ivar Stenberg scored on the power play.

What's next: DeBrincat's shot at No. 300 comes Tuesday in Seattle. The Sharks visit Toronto on Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
